Eclipsing trends and seasons, Jil Dever scarves offer fresh, dynamic, and unexpected creations born of integrity of design and an ethos of Slow Fashion.
The Jil Dever brand itself is rooted in the dynamic shift between permanence and impermanence: Durable, lasting materials that wear well and draw compliments no matter the year or season, yet always attuned to the shifts and changes found in the natural world. To her, sustainable means ethical but can also mean new—material and design can reinvent itself, just as nature is elusive, ephemeral, and reorders itself right in front of us.
Jil is always drawing inspiration from memorable moments before her: a blue-and-white clouded sky that becomes orange-yellow, blue-grey, and burnt-red from a setting sun. She sees an infinite number of color combinations and contrasts around her—in turn reminding us that there is an endless possibility of texture, motion, memories, and dreams to inspire us to every day.
The Jil Dever brand champions empowerment, justice, equity, and inclusion for a more beautiful world through expertly crafted luxury accessories.
Our Story
Jil Dever herself began her career in New York City, where her fabric creations caught the eye of Oscar de la Renta and Mary McFadden. Her one-of-a-kind patterns and bold colors were translated into couture masterpieces that walked the runway. When Jil decided to strike out on her own, Bergdorf Goodman, Saks 5th Avenue, Joyce and Neiman Marcus immediately picked up her designs. She is also featured in luxury boutiques throughout the country and across the globe. Jil is now based in Portland, Oregon.
